“I started Ori Fashion Boutique to empower people through fashion,” she says. “I want people to feel proud, confident, and beautiful in what they wear. Fashion, to me, is not just about clothes — it’s about self-expression and identity.”

A Childhood Woven with Creativity

From a young age, Tsakani had a deep appreciation for beautiful clothing and detail. What others saw as ordinary, she saw as opportunity. Her sense of style and passion for matching outfits gave her confidence — a confidence she now inspires in her clients through her creations.

When friends began admiring her outfits and asking where she got them, she realized she could turn her eye for fashion into a business. What started as reselling casual wear soon evolved into designing and producing custom-made clothing — and thus, Ori Fashion Boutique was born.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, while uncertainty affected many, Tsakani saw an opportunity to start something meaningful. “I used the child grant to buy my first materials,” she recalls. “It wasn’t much, but I believed it would grow — and it did.”

That single step of faith transformed into Ori Fashion Boutique — a brand that now empowers communities through creativity, cultural pride, and self-expression.
