Teboho Samuel Kwetempane

Teboho Samuel Kwetempane is the founder and visionary behind Dr Kweteps Creatives Pty Ltd, an innovative agro-processing and digital company based in Mankweng, Limpopo. With a Master’s in Agriculture from the University of Limpopo, Teboho blends technical expertise with a deep passion for indigenous African plants and technology.

Early Life and Formative Years

Born in Johannesburg in 1991, Teboho moved to Polokwane in 2005, giving him exposure to both urban and rural lifestyles. Experiencing the contrasts between city opportunities and rural limitations shaped his worldview and inspired his mission to create opportunities in under-served communities.

Dr Kweteps Creatives: Products and Services

Dr Kweteps Creatives specializes in Moringa-based functional foods, including:

What sets these products apart is the use of indigenous African ingredients—like Moringa, turmeric, and Bambara groundnut—combined with advanced food safety standards and digital management systems. Locally produced and nutrient-rich, these offerings promote wellness while supporting rural farmers and local communities.

Tackling Social Challenges

Dr Kweteps Creatives addresses three major challenges in rural areas:

The Entrepreneurial Journey

Starting in his family home with minimal resources, Teboho faced challenges such as lack of equipment and funding. Through determination and reinvestment, he built the foundation of Dr Kweteps Creatives. Partnerships with the University of Limpopo, Polokwane Municipality, and the Limpopo Agro-Food Technology Station helped him grow sustainably.

Kweteps Agro Products

During COVID-19 lockdowns, when physical sales stopped, Teboho pivoted online with the Kweteps Africa Market (KAM), featuring an AI assistant named Tendai that guided customers through product orders. This innovation expanded his reach nationwide.

Vision for the Future

Over the next 3–5 years, Teboho plans to establish a certified agro-processing facility under the AfroNutrika Group, exporting Moringa-based and herbal products across Southern Africa. His goals include:

Guiding Principles and Philosophy

Teboho’s approach is guided by integrity, purpose, and consistency. He believes in starting small, learning hands-on, and embracing challenges. He credits doing everything himself as a vital learning phase that built his skills across production, marketing, and finance.

He recommends Simon Sinek’s Start With Why for entrepreneurs focusing on purpose over profit. “Maintaining ethics and staying true to your values is essential — even if it means short-term sacrifice,” he says.

Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

His message to the youth:
